Madhya Pradesh's recent Tech Growth Conclave 3.0 has emerged as a pivotal event, securing nearly ₹40,000 crore in investments and promising over 34,000 new jobs. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the state's commitment to transforming its industrial landscape, moving beyond traditional sectors to embrace technology-driven industries like artificial intelligence, data centers, and semiconductors. This shift is not merely aspirational; it reflects a calculated strategy to position Madhya Pradesh as a competitive player in the global tech arena.
The conclave has attracted significant foreign investments, including a staggering ₹19,000 crore from Spain's Submer Group for an AI-ready data center. This project alone is expected to create around 5,000 direct jobs, underscoring the potential for economic revitalization through tech investments. Furthermore, the establishment of a Semiconductor Centre of Excellence and various IT parks signals a robust infrastructure development aimed at fostering innovation and attracting global talent.
The Chief Secretary, Anurag Jain, highlighted that since the Global Investors Summit-2025, investments exceeding ₹10 lakh crore have been grounded in the state, showcasing a growing confidence among investors in Madhya Pradesh's governance and policy framework. This confidence is crucial as the state aims to redefine its identity from an agricultural hub to a technology powerhouse.
