As the Southwest Monsoon approaches, the Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL) is ramping up its safety protocols across its 741-km corridor connecting Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka. KRCL's proactive approach includes slope stabilization works, enhanced drainage systems, and the deployment of 657 trained personnel for round-the-clock monitoring. The railway has not faced major disruptions from landslides in the past decade, a testament to its investment in infrastructure resilience.
