Adityanath's directive emphasizes the need for practical, result-oriented training that incorporates advanced technology and communication skills. The state plans to increase its police training capacity significantly, expanding from 18,000 to over 60,000 personnel. The introduction of modern training facilities, including cyber forensic labs and drone training, marks a significant investment in the future of policing in Uttar Pradesh.
Moreover, the initiative aligns with the Centre's Mission Karmayogi program, which has already seen high engagement among UP police personnel. As of late May, nearly 4 lakh officers had registered on the iGOT portal, completing over 59 lakh courses.
